Do I pay for the blank space or the TV shows recorded on my VHS tapes?
No, you only pay for the relevant content! So, if a VHS tape contains 45 minutes of family memories followed by old recorded TV shows, we’ll keep only the memories. We even check right to the end of the tape to make sure there aren’t any other hidden memories further along. You’ll only be billed for the meaningful content. In this case, it would be $11.95 to transfer a VHS of less than one (1) hour.
How to send an order?
- First, we recommend contacting us in advance — by phone or email — to get a free, quick estimate. That way, you’ll have a clear idea of what to expect regarding pricing, since no two orders are the same!
- You can then drop off your materials at one of our locations in Québec, Montréal, or Laval. You can mail your materials to our Québec lab using Canada Post with a tracking number if you're located elsewhere. It’s simple and secure!
- We’ll process your order and contact you within 2 to 3 weeks after the work is complete.
- You can make your payment and pick up your order at one of our locations, or have it sent back to you by Canada Post (average cost $20).
How much does it cost?
Our pricing depends on the length of the content on your tapes, videocassettes, or reels. Since we’re currently offering an excellent bulk promotion, we strongly recommend contacting us before bringing in your materials to request an estimate.
It’s quick, easy, and free! Call or email us with an inventory of what you’d like digitized, and we’ll give you an estimate on the spot. This will include the cost of digitization, the price of the storage media (if applicable), and shipping (if needed).
Do we get our reels, tapes, and photos back once the work is done?
Of course! You’ll get back all your original materials once the job is complete. Sometimes they even come back in better condition, as we often need to clean or repair films and tapes during the process. We also recommend keeping the originals for at least a year after the digitization, just in case anything happens with the digital copy.
